About me

From the beginning of 2016, I have set myself the challenge of running a minimum of 5 km (just over 3 miles) every day of the year.

I completed my first half and full marathons in 2015 and wanted to take on a completely different running test this year.

As well as the setting this challenge to push myself, I'm also hoping to raise money for a charity called Rethink. The work Rethink does is aimed at challenging and changing the perceptions of mental illness and helping those who suffer.

As well as blogging about my progress, over the course of the year, I will also look to post other articles and stories relating to running, fitness and mental health.
